A rustic style square Valentine’s Day Heart throw pillow handmade from an upcyled antique quilt block, vintage quaker lace tablecloth and cotton fabric. The ruffle is made from an old quaker lace tablecloth border. Stitched in the seam is my signature real leather hide tag. The leather tab is meant to stay in place and add a bit of country rustic flair to my items.
The Heart pillow measures approximately 8” square and is stuffed with brand new fluffy poly-fil. The ruffle adds additonal width and texture around.
With the use of vintage fabrics there are slight imperfections, staining and wear which add character and charm to the handcrafted items. Frayed edges and worn fabrics are meant to be seen and add additional charm.
